Eubacteria Kingdom

basic facts about bacteria:
~     bacteria are prokaryotes 
~    prokarytoes in general are smaller than eukaryotes
~    the 3 general shape of all bacteria are bacillus(rod shaped), coccus(spherical shaped), spirillum(spiral shaped)
~    bacteria reproduce asecusally in process called binary fission-where bacteria divides into 2 cells   
~    unicellular 
~    only a small percent of bacteria cause diseases, there are helpful bacteria that help us digest our food
~    some bacteria move with the use of flagella or cilia, others do no move at all


about eubacteria:
~     cell walls are made of peptidoglycan
~    most abundant organisms
~    some are aerobic (need oxygen to surevive) and some are anaerobic (die if oxygen is present)
~    some are autotrophs while some are heterotrophs 
~    more in your body than people in the world
